Shani Shingnapur Darshan

Shani Shingnapur is praying for Lord Shaneswara’s favour. Shani Trayodasi is considered to be a favourite day for the lord. Shani Shingnapur is a village in the Indian state of Maharashtra, situated in Nevasa Taluka in Ahmednagar district. The village is known for its popular temple of Shani, the Hindu god associated with the planet Saturn. Shingnapur is 35km from Ahmednagar city.

Trimbakeshwar Darshan

Trimbakeshwar Shiva Temple is an ancient Hindu temple in the town of Trimbak, 28 km from the city of Nashik. Trimbakeshwar is a religious centre having one of the twelve Jyotirlingas. Bhimashankar is also the source of the river Bhima, which flows southeast and merges with the Krishna river near Raichur. The Bhimashankar temple is a composite of old and new structures in the Nagara style of architecture. It shows the excellency of the skills achieved by ancient Vishwakarma sculptors. It is a modest yet graceful temple and it dates back to the 13th century while the sabha mandap was built in the 18th century by Nana Phadnavis.

Aurangabad Ajanta Ellora Caves

The Ajanta Caves in Aurangabad district of Maharashtra are about 30 rock-cut Buddhist cave monuments date from the 2nd century BCE to about 480 or 650 CE. The caves include paintings and sculptures described by the government Archaeological Survey of India as “the finest surviving examples of Indian art, particularly painting”, which are masterpieces of Buddhist religious art, with figures of the Buddha and depictions of the Jataka tales.
